SEO Article

Posted on: February 17th, 2011 by admin

When you publish articles across your website, you will be keeping your pages pushing up the search engine. Which ultimately is the goal for your site. You need to keep it fresh and simple. Do not push your key words in it too much or your article will look cheapened. When you get an article that is written well and laid out properly, you may find the traffic to your web site increasing pushing your web site closer to the top of the search engine.

Make sure you know your product before writing any article about it. For example, if you are writing about being a makeup artist then make sure you have researched that topic so you know you are writing about. Try writing about topics that other people are not writing about, because you will find viewers will more than likely spot your rare article and stay to read it.

Whilst you are writing an article, whatever it is about, do not not use slang or seem like you are being slap dash with your language. You want people to know you are a professional when it comes to your business. Not a slob. You want to raise peoples opinions of you not dash them.

Do not over do yourself. You will want to shout about the brilliant things your company can do but no one wants it pushed at them too much. Subtlety is the answer . Choose just a few key phrases to slip into your text and only have them repeat themselves only a few times. You will attract the sort of traffic you want coming through your website. If you sound like you know what you are talking about and you are professional about it, viewers will warm to your website.

Content is possibly the most important thing above anything to get traffic into your site. Nobody will want to carry on reading an article packed with just keywords, it simply will not make any sense to any body, plus it’ll be boring just reading a load of keywords. So set your text out with interesting, knowledgeable information, with a scattering of important key words.

Make sure what you have written makes sense. All though the search engines will not be able to point out your bad grammar to you, the readers will and your website and company will look bad. It is very distracting when your reading through something that has bad grammar, so you wont take in what the message trying to be put across.

Finding the Right Keywords.

Posted on: February 17th, 2011 by admin

If you want a successful SEO campaign then the right keywords are one of the most important things.

Often people would like a brief description of a product in an article. Not a long winded confusing article.

Try and think like your reader. We are all human. Say for example your website was about ‘Writing pens’. You would think why a person would like your particular type of pen. Look up which are the most popular search words for your types of pen/pens. Then you make sure they are added into the article. Detailed description is also a very important factor.

You can decide as a team what your keywords should be. Then you search for them on a keyword tool to check out which ones are the most popular. You will want those in your article. The more they are searched for the higher they will push your site up the ranking.

You have quite a few different keywords associated with your product to choose from. You can work them into your article quite easily, making it look well written and making it flow easily.

When you are looking for your keywords, you will find 2 or 3 word phrases that are have a high number of viewers looking for them. You want these to become your main keywords that you are aiming high on the ranking for.

Your keywords need to be featured in the title. This is the most important place for them.

When you write your first paragraph you need to place them there too. By all means use the keywords throughout the article, but do not cram the article with them. If you over crowd the text with just a few phrases it will look pretty obvious what is going on, it also wont make sense with the same words keep popping up.

If you mix the right keywords with some smooth, short but interesting text then you surely will have the perfect article. An article that has high ranking keyword or phrases, will help your website to the top of the search engine.

SEO Writing

Posted on: February 17th, 2011 by admin

An article being can be a great way to make the content on your web site better. When an article is written, your readers will be provided with good information they can use when being introduced to your website. You also should use SEO when you are having these articles written, it will make it easier to have your products promoted.  Keep your SEO text interesting so any one reading it will want to keep on reading. However, we all want to learn so, try and provide an article that is easy to read and keep somebody’s attention.

Keeping articles pleasant to read is of up most importance because, even when you are writing about a product of yours keep it simple for all the different types of people visiting your site. When you are showing a person one of your articles for the first time, they should be able to read it and pick up quickly what exactly the article is about.

The length of an article is important. If you make it too long, it will take the reader a long time to get through it to find out what they want, and if they have to go through that they may lose interest. So keep them shorter, so you keep your readers attention, keeping them on your site. If your article is short it will be a whole lot more direct too because you will have to explain in a smaller amount of words, which is a good thing to the reader.

It is better to write more shorter articles then less longer ones. You can find SEO services that will help you write the articles, so they are professionally written so you can earn a high ranking position.

You can use SEO in the titles of the articles and also feature SEO in the articles them selves. Links to other pages on your site can be added amongst the article too.

This is the ever popular way to get people onto your website. It is growing all the time. You can have the most popular key words that are being searched (to do with your product) featured in your article, so you come up high on the search engine. Only feature the keywords to do with what you are selling or it will end up being a total waste of time. Use Keywords that have a meaning to your product.

SEO Linking

Posted on: February 17th, 2011 by admin

Links are a piece of the internet that, with out them we wouldn’t be able to work websites. If you can imagine trying to call somebody but no phone numbers exist, you wouldn’t be able to contact them. That is what a link is. A communication between pages. We wouldn’t have an internet with out links.

A few examples of links:

Using a search engine to look for a product. You click on the link and you are at a website.

Emails with links on to other websites.

Posting a comment on either a blog, Facebook or Twitter.

You have links everywhere on the internet.

When you speak to any Search Engine optimizer, they will tell you how important externally linking to other web sites is. Internal links are very important to the optimization of your site too. Your home or index page (whichever you prefer to call it) is the first page the viewer will see first. So this makes that page very important too. Another very important factor is that you have a link on every page going back to the home or index page.

A search engine uses an anchor link to help the reader determine. One note to make as well is, if you have a link called “Portfolio”, when you click onto it, it had actually be about a “Portfolio”. This may sound like a silly thing to write, but you’d be amazed at how many website that have internal links to pages that are not associated to the link name. Also if you have a link called “Portfolio” then you have to have a key word or a phrase with the word “Portfolio” mentioned on that page.

Even with new rules and techniques about SEO are coming in all the time, the old ones are the ones that are being returned are the old ones.

When your web site links from other highly situated web sites, then expect your ranking to rise with just that. Also when you are linking to other web sites, try and make sure you link to mainly sites that are in your industry as that will boost your ranking too.

To make your internal linking good. Make sure…

You sure every page has a link back to your home or index page.

If you decide to put key words in your text regarding other pages on your site, then you should have links to that page too.

Use your most important keywords in the anchor text of your internal links.

When you do have links to certain pages, make sure that they are actually about the topic on the link.

Get More Traffic Through SEO

Posted on: February 17th, 2011 by admin

Right at the very start, there was a page rank created. And everyone that was an SEO master then had to learn to optimise web sites for one word keywords. But a certain leading search engine, found that certain page rank not good enough so, there had to be Phrase rank, for whole phrases rather than just the one word.

A site that has no spelling mistakes and key phrases that are to do with the website, will rank higher in the search engines. You can use different key words through out the site, as long as they are linked to the site. A search engine would not be as varied if there were only one type of key word allowed to be put in, so that is why we can be varied.

Way back when a person was putting a key word for a search, they would only put in one word. Now a days a person will put in virtually a whole sentence, for example “web design company Essex”. So your key words have got to have the words you want associated with your website.

Error free text makes a much better first impression then if you were to come across a site that you noticed had spelling or grammar mistakes. There are some people out there who ignore spelling mistakes, that does make it look very unprofessional and as if the writer has no idea what they are doing. Even in the Meta tags the normal person looking at the site doesn’t see, these cannot have spelling mistakes. The web designer does have to be very careful in the back end, whatever they are writing.

You want your company to be in the top 20. Who ever lands on the first 20 will probably not go to the next lot of companies. Link building plays a huge part in the search engine rankings. Links must be put in such a way that other websites want to link to you to them. If you are already ranking high on the search engine sites, you will find other web sites jumping at the chance to be linked to you and that will push you even higher.

When you are thinking of key words and key phrases. Try not to overfill the web pages with them. It will look very obvious as to what is trying to be achieved.
