A Guide To Long Term Blogging.

Many businesses now have a blog on their website as part of their SEO campaigns. At first you’ll probably find you have plenty to say on your blog and probably have lots of enthusiasm to write regular posts.

But, as time goes on, it starts getting harder to think of interesting things to blog about and it can start to feel like a chore.

Blogs are now playing a very important role in seo, bellow is a guide to help you with your long term blog writing.

Make a note of when your going to blog, you should do it at least twice a week. Whenever a topic springs to mind jot it down.

Look at forthcoming events, for example a conference, and write a blog about these topics. Or perhaps there’s a day each year that is earmarked, for example, national non smoking day, pancake day whatever you can think off to keep your readers interested.

As time goes by you can analyse your blog via Google analytics. Watching the keywords that send traffic to a business blog can be very useful and help tell us what customers are interested in. While you do not want to stuff your blogs with keywords it is handy to know what topics interest your readers. Knowing your keywords can help to focus your blog writing.

You do not have to post blogs that everyone will agree with. People often like to be challenged mentally. If relevant, why not create a debate.

The social web, mostly, has a short memory. This means that you will be able to revisit topics that were previously well received, and update them with more current information.
